All shot with the 10.5mm Nikon on a D100 and D300. Great lens once you get use to it.

Great thread! I do love this lens...very sharp and offers a lot of creative possibilities....however, I have since bought a Tokina 10-17 Fisheye and will probably be using that instead.

The 10.5 can be really too wide for many shots, such as the last one of the hawksbill turtle below. However, after a while of getting used to it, you know what kind of shots to look for. Here are my samples (D300, Sea & Sea housing, 2x YS-110 Strobes, TTL Converter (not always on), no crop and slight PP);

Lets here what you have to say, and see some of those wide-angle pictures.

My 10.5 f2.8 fisheye showed up today, along with my nikkor 50mm f1.8.

Going to be used in conjunction with my Nikon D90.

I can't wait to get this thing underwater, but i need to get the Ikelite housing first. Maybe by xmas i'll have it :D

I have shot extensively with the 16mm/2.8 with film.
I got one 10.5mm/2.8 for myself, but I am in between housings now.
Sold my D80 + Sea&Sea DX-D80 and I am going to buy the D90 with Sea&Sea's MDX-D90.

The 10.5mm is a LOT better than the 16mm!
Get C-L-O-S-E!!! Use that wonderful focus!!!

I have used it with my D300 and my Sea & Sea housing.....very sharp lens.....but can be a little too wide at times. THere is a thread in this forum which shows user examples of what this lens can do....

I love the 10.5 and 16 Nikon lens and they were all I used to shoot underwater for wide angle but since the Tokina 10-17 I end up using it most of the time but if I know I am going to use need the fisheye for the majority of my shots I will use the 10.5 as its hard to beat for sharpness.
