REEF CHECK CARIBBEAN POSTER CONTEST

HELP SAVE A REEF AND WIN $500

Attention All Underwater Photographers and Graphic Artists:

Reef Check, the world’s leading reef monitoring and conservation organization, is working to create a poster to promote saving reefs in the Dominican Republic and other locations in the Caribbean. And you can win $500 in the process!!

All you need to do is layout a poster-sized (roughly 24 by 18 inches) file featuring an underwater image you own (actual photo or composite) featuring Scuba Divers exploring a beautiful, healthy Caribbean tropical reef. The image should include the elements that make those reefs unique and special – vibrant coral and sponges, lots of colorful fish, and clean, blue water. The point is to show the amazing aquatic world that can be lost if people don’t act to save these natural treasures. Do not include any copy. Let the picture tell the story.

Then submit a flattened Jpeg of your efforts to Reef Check for consideration. The winning layout will then be produced as a regional poster, distributed free to dive shops, hotels and resorts to support Marine Conservation and awareness.

For full details please see the official rules.
