can clip the camera to a rectractor on my BCD. I lost my flash diffuser the first day diving. had to try to figure out how to overcome this diving in Indonesia (mostly wakatobi) for 11 days. what would you do? P7203237-adj-trim-small.jpg

top of my mind, you can make your own diffuser from a white powdered milk can lid or milk jug. thats what i used before for topside supermacro.

the flash diffuser is pretty large hard to replace. Instead, I chose to zoom out to past where the shadow of the camera barrel was on my camera. that is effectively 12-14 mm zoom or so on this camera. my OP pic taken at 12 mm.

A couple of pieces of frosted Scotch tape over the flash might have worked in a pinch.

I shoot with the XZ-1 as well.
