New to this site, and hoping to get some suggestions please " Upgrading my Camera Gear, need some experienced advice: Canon G15 vs S110 Vs Sony RX100. I love Macro. Any suggestions? or opinion on which of these these 3 cameras would be best? Many Thanks

There is no comparison between the Sony and the Canon's as far as image quality is concerned; the Sony is much much better (much much bigger sensor). There is also no comparison in terms of price, the Sony is much more expensive and there is no Sony housing for the camera. Canon housings can be had quite cheaply, the least expensive housing for the Rx100 is probably the Ikelite one, so a lot will depend on your budget for the system. Don't forget strobes, arms etc. when you are shopping.

What is the best camera to buy for underwater activites?

That question is impossible to answer. There are way too many factors to take into account and you have given no idea of what your budget is, what your intended use is, whether you will be travelling with it etc.

Not had a chance to shoot the G15 or 110 yet. Own the RX 100 and think it is fantastic, but if it has a "weakness" it is macro. The nice thing is with 20 megapixels and it's big sensor you can crop the photos. All of the photos here were taken with it: Aquablue Dreams. If the shot is macro it was probably taken with a Subsee +10 diopter.

Best to go to a local camera store, have them pull all 3 cameras put a quarter on the table and see how they each shoot it.
