Hi all. I am a total photography newbie. My husband and I want to buy an underwater camera to take shots while we are snorkeling. However, reviews of the Canon D20 and the Nikon AW110 show that leakage is a real possibility. I don't know about leakage with the Olympus TG-2, but a review said it had a real tendency to underexpose images and the sample images seemed to back that up.
That lead me to the idea of buying an Ikelite case for my Canon Powershot A2400 IS. They seem to be pretty highly reviewed. My question is, can my Powershot take good pictures in an underwater environment? And, if so, what settings do I use? There's no point in me paying for a waterproof housing for my Powershot if the photos are going to be crummy.
Thanks.
