Tested out the housing, without the camera of course, in our pool today. It's a bit disconcerting when you have been trained to look for bubbles, to see them from a couple of areas of the housing, although no water was found inside the housing after it's dunking. I put a 1# weight in it thinking this would be enough to sink it to the bottom of the pool so I could leave it for a while, but was not enough. I should probably try to rig up something to keep it submerged for longer than a few minutes. Now I'm thinking I should have invested in some SS weights for the housing so it's not quite so buoyant.

Yah! Whitout the camera, port, lens, strobes and arms, yes the housing wont sink ;-) Dont worry, with all these goodies, you'll floating stix to make it buoyant ;-)
