So I as keep trying to get better at this, I am looking for any and all feedback.....

Last time I posted I got a lot of feedback on composition and overall technique.....

Hopefully, these are an improvement....:D

I am shooting a S90/Ike housing/W20 WA lens/dual Sea&Sea 110 strobes - in manual.....

Then I use Digital Photo Pro to crop and clean up the shots....

Thanks.....M

I really can't speak to quality of the photography, however I will say that I enjoyed looking at them.

Some very nice pics here. One thing I notice is that you have a bit too much flash in some pics, for example the grouper 7.2 pic, the right side of the sand is a bit blown out and the grouper is too much in the center of the pic but the rest of the pic is quite nice.
My humble adjustment with a reframe and a bit of burning the right side and the grouper mouth. I don't like the mouth here but I am more interested in the framing.

Thx for the feedback, you are 100% correct since I shoot full manual many of my pictures are under or over exposed - it is tough when you only get one shot and on the small screen it looks right. The Grouper in the center is how I cropped it, so I will work on cropping to the thirds......

M

Don't try to make everything on thirds, my point was that in your grouper pic, there was this very bright negative space on the right. Cropping to get rid of it to me makes sense. On the other hand your white grouper 2.2 is very nicely framed, I wouldn't move it because there is nothing in the frame that takes my eye away from the grouper. One good test is to print the pic out at 8x10 or so then look at it on the wall but upside down. Where does your eye go? If it goes to the subject, great, if not you MIGHT have a problem.
IN any case, quite a few very nice pics, keep it up.

Bill

Great advice - I appreciate it....

Thx, M

I would also like to get some feed back on the odd shot or two, but not sure how you attach photos to posts. Advice please
