GUE DAY Pompano Dive Center August 26th

Pompano Dive Center is hosting a GUE day on Sunday, August 26th, 2012. Details will be posted later as Kathy Dicker and Alan Pelstring are organizing the day since I have been and will be underwater until then, literally and figuratively. The intent is to have a meet and greet in the morning along with presentation on our local GUE Project Baseline and whatever else people want to discuss, then go dive in the afternoon to collect data for Baselines and have some fun. GUE Instructors Guy Shockey, Mark Messersmith and Errol Kalayci will be diving at Pompano Dive Center next week and hopefully they can all 3 be there for Sunday though Guy may have to return home prior. Additionally, Robert Carmichael co-owner of Halcyon and Brownie's Marine Group, BOD for GUE will be present, Bill Mee (long time WKPP) and Ted Cole (former GUE Instructor and WKPP) along with many other old time GUE buddies and current day ones...recent Fundamental Grads and people interested in GUE, Halcyon, etc. Kathy and Alan will plan a great day for sure! Please contact them through Pompano Dive Center (954) 788-0208 if interested in attending and diving with us. All dives will be in 100 feet or less and 32% Nitrox.

Great time to meet old and new like minded buddies, ask questions, learn more about Project Baselines (to help preserve our ocean and reef) and go diving.

Due to Tropical Storm/Hurricane Isaac the GUE day is postponed.

Once the weather improves, we look forward to rescheduling.
