This is a three day specialty trip aboard the M/V Horizon. Our destinations are: San Clemente Island and (hopefully) Cortes Bank & Tanner Bank. Cortes and Tanner are both VERY weather-dependent, so no guarantees on those two.
SAN CLEMENTE ISLAND: Island in the Southern Channel Island chain. Amazing diving with great vis, kelp, and animals. Various depths.
CORTES BANK: Exotic seamount roughly 100 miles from San Diego. Diveable area is miles wide with visibility rated at 75' to 200'. Depths are variable, but plan on them being deep-ish. Kelp present. Currents may be present. TRUE open ocean diving. (Weather dependent.)
TANNER BANK: Another (smaller) reef 121 miles NW of San Diego. Great visibility is possible with currents and kelp probable. Deep diving with most dives beginning at 80'. (Weather dependent.)
Weather will dictate where we ultimately go (our goal is Cortes/Tanner), but even the CHANCE to dive Cortes or Tanner is worth it!
DURATION: 3 days. We leave San Diego at 8 pm on Thursday and we'll arrive back at the dock around 8 pm on Sunday.
PRICE: $450 each

FOOD: All meals included. The Horizon has incredible fare. If you have special food requests (vegan, etc) please let them know well ahead of time and they'll be happy to accommodate you.
NITROX: Nitrox provided for an extra (reasonable) charge. They spit out 32% using a membrane system.
EXPERIENCE: You must be a true Advanced Diver, not just in name. This means you are very comfortable with your buoyancy, diving to recreational depths around 100 feet or greater, and familiar with currents.
