I can't come down for a whole weekend for a while...but I can come down early afternoon some weekend soon. Attention Conchs, I need someone to come down with me to share gas expenses! We can take my CR-V unless you'd rather take your car. PM me or post here if you want to share the ride and expenses. I'd be leaving the Hollywood/Dania area about 11 a.m.-ish; I still need to ride my bicycle every weekend morning to train for my MS150 ride, but we'd be to the quarry by 1:30 p.m.-ish and have PLENTY of time to make a couple of clean up dives!
NO and NO and Heck NO, but I can tell you we had a man snorkling with them the other day and he was told that they are NOT dolphins and that he could not grab them and ride them like a dolphins, He was warned they would not like it he said some smart a** remark and grabbed one and nothing happened so he grabbed him again and that cobia turned SO fast around and put a nice head butt in his belly. That the man was almost in tears. It took everything I had not to laugh at him. I did not have to put him in his place he knew the rules from than on.
The Cobia love being around people and diving with them, but they don't like to be rode or manhandled in anyway. They will come up beside you and swim with you they may even bump into you while swimming along side you but they don't want to hurt you they want to swim with you and play.

Can we feed the fish?
Love to be able to help out. Not sure what is going on that weekend. Plus it's far away for me too
