My GF and I signed up for a two week Galapagos expedition, hosted by Ed and Suzzy Robinson. July-August, 2005
The two weeks is unprecedented for a Galapagos liveaboard trip but will allow us several days at the northerly Darwin and Wolf Islands--where, according to photographer Eric Cheng--someone recorded 27 whale sharks on a single dive. If you dislike diving with throngs of hammerheads and schools of fish that block out the sun, this may not be the trip for you.

So it would be nice to have some other Hawaii divers join us. Last I heard is that they still have a slot or two open. This isn't a cheap trip, but for diving what has been described by several marine scientists as the fishiest spot on Earth, why not do it once in your life?
