Since I am spending so much time up here in Canada these days I think what the hell why not get some diving in and do some training.
I will offer cavern to cave, starting at the cavern level training right here in the Ottawa area. My format will be designed to start teaching the classes up here and finish them down south in Florida. Alot of fundamentals can be worked in the open water or on wrecks
By doing so I can work with divers at a more comfortable pace without the rush of getting it all in during your vacation times by using weekends and evenings. Once we get by all the basics we can head south into cave country and hit the cavern and cave systems. This could leave much of that vacation time used to exploring the systems instead of training.
A suggested schedule example:
Day 1 Academics and dryland training
Day 2 In-water Fundmanetals skill sets and technique applications (examples are running reels and OOA skills, body position and propulsion techniques)
Day 3 (Down South in Florida, you cover your own travel costs)
Cavern (the real McCoy) - We do some skills
Day 4 Cavern - We do more skills
Day 5 Dive the Caverns have fun
Arguing with an Army grunt is like wrestling with a pig, you both get dirty but the pig loves it!. I KNOW I"M A HARD ASS
