Hi,

I am a male diver looking for a place on a liveaboard in the Galapagos around this time. I am very experienced (mainly cold UK diving) and want to avoid having to pay a single supplement for a liveaboard(1.5 times of the price!!!!).

Thanks,
Grant

For Galapagos liveaboards, there is no single supplement unless your intent is to assure yourself a private cabin by purchasing both berths. As long as you're willing to share with another male, price is regular rate. If another male comes along to share, you will share. If not, you will have a private cabin. Bear in mind, August is high season, so having a private cabin is very unlikely.

The question is merely which itinerary and which liveaboard you prefer the most. On our website, we have both a Galapagos liveaboard comparison chart to assist you in understanding the difference as well as individual pages for each liveaboard offering information, itineraries, rates and photos. Some prefer an itinerary that does offer some land visits that are only accessible from a liveaboard and others prefer to focus on a more dive intensive itinerary. More than happy to assist. Just visit the site and get in touch.
