Spend 14 days diving Raja Ampat for LESS than the cost of a transfer
cruise or even a 14 day (12 diving days) visit to a comparable Raja
Ampat resort.
If you have never been diving in Indonesia before, this trip is the great
Smörgåsbord (Rijsttafel?) of Indonesian Diving. In this center of biodiversity
you will get a sample of nearly everything during your time underwater!
Plus, many of the dishes listed on the Rijsttafel menu are prepared for your
meals on the ship!
Mid-October to early December normally has the best weather (diving
conditions) of the entire year in Raja Ampat. This is always the
season when I schedule my trips. However, most ships are not yet in
Raja Ampat.
Most trips available at this time are the less desirable "transfer cruise"
ships offer when relocating from the south to Raja Ampat for the season.
Transfer and one-way cruises must cover long distances with no opportunity
to stay at the best sites and enjoy the diving. While a transfer cruise may
seem like a better deal, the reality is that the better diving is in Raja Ampat,
so only a few days of a transfer cruise will offer truly great dives.
This year from mid-October - mid November very few ships will be in
Raja Ampat, so we expect to be the only ship in sight for much of our
14 diving days.
There are still some spaces available on my City Seahorse Value Added
trips during this time. I'd love to sell these last spaces so that I
can concentrate on my own holiday!!

and a night in Sorong so that we can all board the ship at 9AM on

Ship accommodation is in triple cabins, each for 2 guests, with en suite bath, individually controlled AC. Guaranteed single cabins are available at a reasonable extra cost (please ask).
The ship is a traditionally outfitted Pinisi motor sailor designed and purpose built for diving. Highlights include an indoor dive deck & briefing room with charging stations & gear storage. Indoor wetsuit storage with hot freshwater showers and rinse tank; large camera table with 2 built in rinse tanks and storage for each diver; 3 public areas (sundeck, bow with large tables and hammocks, indoor dining/lounge with AC, HDTV, library).
About 1/2 of our guests travel alone and meet up enroute to Sorong. We will help you organize your flights to Indonesia and handle all domestic Indonesia (within Indonesia) travel for you. We can accommodate couples, dive buddies and individuals. This trip is perfect for solo travelers (Solo travelers are guaranteed a same gender diver in your cabin). Especially a good trip for solo women divers.
