the specifics:
12 divers will be flying out of LAX the NIGHT of May 21. We spend all
week at the wonderful Beqa Lagoon Resortdiving our hearts out and
enjoying the beautiful resort and surrounding island. We leave Fiji
on May 30.
With the crossing of the international date line, we arrive in Fiji on
May 23, and we will arrive BACK at LAX on May 30. (This trip falls on
Memorial Day week, so that is one less day to take off work!)
What is included? All the basics. The trip cost covers airfare to
and from Fiji. All bus and boat transfers while on Fiji. 7 nights at
Beqa Lagoon Resort. 3 Gourmet Meals a day. 5 two-tank boat dives. 1
night boat dive (the second highlight of my previous visit). Unlimited
shore dives on the resort reef. tanks and wieghts are provided.
What is not included but worth the price? The two-tank shark dive at
the end of the week. Alcohol and soda at the resort. The resort also
has internet access. It is a one person at a time system, but if you
absolutely have to check your email, it is there for you. Gear rentals
are not included. The resort has gear, but it is better bring your
own. Also, on the last day there is some down time after traveling
back to Nadi to catch our flight. It is advisable to secure a day
room from the closest hotel - $65 a room, easily split among several
people. Totally worth it.
So, the real info you need, cost. The trip is $2599, with a $305**
airline fuel surcharge - total is $2904 pp based on double occupancy.
However, as I said, if you don't drink, and don't dig sharks, this is
ALL you pay. Not to shabby for a trip to Fiji for incredible diving!

$500 non-refundable deposits required to secure your space. Trip
cancellation insurance suggested.
