Just bought the jbl lightning 22 - good buy or a mistake?
I just purchased a jbl lightning 22 for under $150. I'm going to be hunting in kelp forrests of the Channel islands, Southern California.
I have a large Riffe 1 which seems to be too big for shooting a fish 7 feet away. Does anybody have anything good or bad to say
about the JBL lightning 22?
The JBL Lightning 22 has the Tru Glide system that somewhat silences the shot and improves accuracy,a SS trigger, a SS safety, a spring steel shaft and a SS speartip. These features seperate a real speargun from toys sold for poking holes in fish.
While you do not own a custom gun, you can set up your JBL to work better than it came from the factory. Add a mono shooting line and don't overpower the gun.
