Shore locations for spearfishing in Palm Beach and Broward Counties in Florida

Any of you local South Florida hunters know where we can go spearing from the beach without running afoul of local ordinances? I've seen guys hitting the reefs outside of Commercial Pier without getting hassled. But I know a lot of the beaches that are guarded don't allow it, even if you are outside the 300 foot limit.

no spearfishing allowed in LBTS (but not sure how enforced it is)
spearing is allowed off the hollywood beach though - 300 ft offshore - yellow brick road & eurojacks come to mind
