Shore Dives for California Spiny Lobster

I live in Norcal and I am wondering if people know the closest place to Norcal I can scuba dive to catch some bugs?

Any sites that are accessible by shore?

If there were good spots, it's unlikely others would give away their honey pots. Best way to find them is to go looking. Where there's water and rocks, there can be bugs.
