Hi,

I'm pretty recent to the dive world and was wondering if there are any lobster sites that are within reach of a shore dive near the Hollywood area?

I would love to catch my first lobster before the end of the season!

Lobsters are everywhere and nowhere in the South Florida waters, locals either have their secret honey holes or have been patronizing a charter that puts them on bugs.

All I could suggest for you is to
1- Have a valid license with a lobster stamp. Would suck if you are lucky enough to encounter one and catch it, to have a marine patrol coincidentally cross your path and decide to "have a conversation" on your way out.
2- Always carry a lobster gauge and a bag suitable for a couple of bugs. See #1.
3- Know what to do if you are lucky enough to encounter one during your dive.
