I'm interested in buying myself this camera(INTOVA IC-600 Underwater), but my knowledge on underwater photography(or just plain photography) is pretty limited I'll admit.

Hopefully some of the more camera savvy experts can help me know if I'm wasting my money or if it's a decent buy. I plan to use it in pretty clear waters less than 90ft deep by the way

I'm given these specs on the camera. Lot's of 'em and half of them I can hardly interpret. It's the INTOVA IC600.

If I buy this camera I'm paying about $300CDN. I don't intend to pay much more than that on a camera though.

Thanks in advance :)

I'm no photographer but I used to have that camera before mine flooded. It didn't really take great pictures and my dad's camera which is a canon 5 megapixel was alot better then this one. The picture is just grainy and very sharp but not really crystal clear at all. For the same price, you'll probably be happy with this one which is I'm getting because it is small and able to fit between my BC and wetsuit.

My first camera was a Sealife camera. It was innovative for its day, almost 9 years ago. But I lost it in the kelp off the coast of California on a 42 degree dive. :11: Another reason I like Florida and the Caribbean.
