Part 3: The Philippines (Dumaguete) with the Fuji E900

Recently back from 2 months in Indonesia (Bali, Sulawesi, Raja Ampat) and 1 month in the Philippines (Anilao and Dumaguete). Here's a selection of shots from Dumaguete / Dauin, taken with a Fuji E900 in Ike housing with 2 S&S YS-90DXs, 1 to 3 INON macro lenses or the INON UWL. (See other threads for Anilao and Indonesia.)

Unfortunately, after about a week and half of diving in the Philippines, I started getting symptomatic again (but no where near as bad as my first real hit) so I came home to get tested for a PFO. The cardiologist, after reading the results from the echo I had last week, is saying the test is positive for a PFO and Atrial Septal Aneurysm (ASA). I have more tests scheduled for later in the month to confirm the preliminary diagnosis. So, meanwhile, my 3-month trip to Honduras has been cancelled. And now I have to figure out what to do with myself. :'( (Actually, I think I still have a couple dives' worth of pictures from Dumaguete to work through, so that might help keep me and my mind busy. Watch for additions!)

Fantastic. Love the wide shots. Get well and get back in the water.

Fortunate that you caught the PFO before something really serious happened. I assume that once it is repaired you'll be fine. I'm not familiar with Atrial Septal Aneurysm but based on my biological knowledge I'm pretty sure I know what it refers to. Hopefully that is also repairable and you'll be producing more great pix in the not-too-distant future.

Stunning shots Jennifer. If you hadn't mentioned the E900 in your post title, I'm sure most people would have mistaken these shots for a DSLR.

And who was it who said add on lenses degrade photo quality...

Magnificent set again Jennifer. I absolutely LOVE the catfish image. Tell the docs to fix you quickly and well so you can get back in the water and continue making more of these fabulous photos.
