The Mako Spearguns Camera Mounting System is built with a “POSI – LOCK” design that ensures the camera is always put back on the gun in the exact same position. (No tools required)

With the Mako Spearguns Camera Mounting System, you can choose between 3 different “Camera Arms” which are all compatible and interchangeable with the “Mako Two Piece Barrel Attachment” with Posi – Lock design.

Choose between:
a) Side mount camera arm
b) Inline camera arm
c) Do It Yourself camera arm

In the photos below, you will see the “Side Mount Camera Arm” can mount the camera on the left side of the barrel or the right side of the barrel. And, it can mount the camera on the top or the bottom of the arm.

In the photos below, you will see the “In Line Camera Arm” can mount the camera directly in line with the spear. This will be popular with West Coast Kelp huntersbecause the camera will not get hung up in the vertical kelp stringers. When using this “In Line Camera Arm” with the “Above Barrel” option, the camera can be simply tilted back for re-loading.

In the photos below, you will see the “Do It Yourself Camera Arm” which allows you to custom fabricate a camera arm to your exact requirements. The mount below took about 5 minutes to fabricate.

With the Mako Spearguns Camera Mounting System, you can even reverse the direction of the camera, capturing multiple perspectives for creative video editing as illustrated in the photo.

In anticipation of the release of our hybrid gun, we will soon have a single mounting base with the “Posi – Lock” design for wood guns and hybrids. This single mounting base with posi lock will be compatible with all 3 camera arms.
