Ikelite need a type 1 mount to get the lens deeper and then it will not vignette
Nauticam uses a type 2 mount as the lens is closer
It will be not practical to interchange those in a trip as you need to remove screws but you can buy the alternative mount so you are covered for both
but i use the type 2 with the ikelite s100 and it just abit vignette... the ikelite W-20 is like the type 1 but it design for 35mm...
i think i'll stay with the type2 coz mybe i'll change my ikelite s100 to the original s100 with the inon adapter...
i had the chance to test the cannon housing in Papua New Guinea and its a great housing.. so i think the type2 is fit to the canon housing too..
If you use type 2 for ikelite you get vignetting, if you use type one you don't so if you are bothered about vignetting you need to use type 1
If you don't want to change as you go along you will keep the vignette, you can't use type 1 with non ikelite as it will not allow you to screw on (nauticam won't)
