Sola 1200 cannot reach maximum brightness

I bought my sola 1200 a year ago.

I have not used my light in more than 8 months due to inactivity. Today I turned on my light, it worked, however, it had difficulty reaching maximum brightness (3 green lights).

I bought a new 1200 less than 5 months ago (Dec). Has been used about 10-12 times, only has full power on both white and red light. The small green indicator light changes as you try to change intencity settings, but light output stays on hi. Submitted a trouble ticket at Light & Motion website 4 days ago, no response as yet.
