vase 1.jpgvase2.jpgok, i think i figured out how to upload pics. now, anyone have any ideas what this was. i found it in the harbor at nombre de dios, panama.
 
Grain, interesting. I was thinking a fruit bowl etc. nombre harbor saw the likes of Christopher Columbus, Spanish treasure ships,pirates, English etc. Nombre
is a natural deep water harbor. We also found many old bottles etc.
 
The grain storage was just a WAG, I really have no idea but was going off the "flatness" of the pot making it quite large. Thus I was thinking in terms of bulk. But really anything could have stored in it. Your best bet would to have it dated and go from there.
