So I had a irrigation pump which was a Honda gx200 mastered to a grumman rupp pump. Now I am moving to the Caribbean and would like to use this for both small boat salvage and for a nozzle to move sand to sink piers and uncover vast amounts of pirate gold.

Will the cast aluminum pump work if rinsed with fresh water or do I need to retrofit it for salt with a bronze or stainless pump.

It is a great pump with tremendous power for its size so would like to use it. But I am getting conflicting info.

Thanks
