We will come to the USA in September 2015!We will come specialy for hunting Shark teeth!Megalodon teeth!!
Our Plan is to dive the cooper river in South Carolina,The St Mary`s river in Georgia and the fossil ledges in North Carolina!
For the Fossilledges we will need some more diver to go out!!
We will go out from Wilmington from the 09.22.2015-09.24.2015!!
Aquatic Safaris SCUBA Center - NC SCUBA Diving Charters & Certification Lessons
Hope here are some divers who will join us!!!!
See you!

What are your dates in Sept? Oh yea that is peek hurricane season, did you know?
I might be heading that way in Sept. and if our times link up I would love to get out.
ZDD

I`m not sure!?But i think the hurricane season will start in june and will end in november!?
And the rest of the year there can be a "normal" Storm be outside!
So you never know if you can go out!!!It`s nature!!

But if there will be no wind (perfect weather to go out) but not enough divers for the charter i will be really sad!
Will be a long trip for us from Germany to go there!!
So i hope the charter will be full!!!:blinking:

Here are no divers who will come to wilmington to find big shark teeth!?:(
It`s just a little bit more than a month and there are some places left for the charters!!

I'm interested in diving NC fossil ledge for meg teeth either this or next October. Are you guys keen?

I'll always join for fossil diving when dates work and I can get a spot on a boat. The boat you have listed above in the first post wouldnt be my first choice for the Meg ledges, probably would be my third choice.

Safety or just personal preference?

Safety or just personal preference?

Solely personal preference. The boat mentioned is a fine operation, they run a great, safe boat and have never had an issue with them professionally or from a safety standpoint. In fact if I am diving wrecks I'll end up with them a lot mainly because of more openings. Nothing bad to say about them as a dive operation at all. And if budget is a concern they are priced lower than most based on volume.

However when it comes to tooth diving I find that two other boats in the area are more preferable for me. Being 6 pack boats they are limited in number of divers (versus the big shop in town whose boats carry 18 and 24 divers if I remember correctly). When I am diving for teeth I'd rather have as few divers in the water as possible running lines and stirring up the bottom. Plus on at least one of the smaller boats the captain is an avid tooth diver himself, and I have found that they drop you on the teeth more.

Another thing to consider - NC diving is NC diving, there isn't much hand holding. However on the bigger operations there is slightly more than the smaller boats. This isn't apathy on the smaller boats, just happens to be that way as the bigger boats have more crew on them.

Went out for some teeth yesterday with @Barnaby'sDad - used Jet Lag Charters out of Carolina Beach. Here’s the bulk of what I got, quarter for size reference.
