On a recent dive I lost my GoPro. I thought it was gone for good, but we launched a recovery effort on Sunday. The GoPro is now safely back home :)

Nice video!

You might consider a MAKO chin strap combo with the head mount. It will prevent the rig from coming off your head- at least without your knowledge.

Many cameras have been lost with the head mount system w/o the chin strap.

The chin strap is a great idea and I should pick one up. I do know better than to trust the headband by itself. I normally secure the headband under my hood. Confusing to explain, but I also have lights attached to a second hood and on this dive that is what was securing the gopro. When I was back at the boat and removed my hood with the lights, my gopro came off and ... splash!, all the way to the bottom. A couple days later I learned that the bread crumb trail of the dive was in my friends fish finder/GPS, so we had a good idea of where it was lost and luckily we were able to make the recovery.
