Interesting camera but at $2500, I think not. There's other just as worthy camera for less.
Rubblish AoV for the lens, not very wide.
Zoom barrel, may be an issue with a port for it.
The 5 axis stabilisation is only available for FullHD - not 4k.
High bitrate is All-Ultra, so actually pretty compressed (considering)
Not a very well thought out camera, but due to it being a Canon, I'm sure it will sell like hotcakes

I've only used the XA10 on dry land only, but have preferred to film with a SLR (dry land).
In terms of price (Filming with a XC10 or similarly priced SLR) - would you not prefer a SLR**?
