Cool video.

Even though I did not get my training through an "official" training agency, the video brought back a few old memories. I figured you guys would like it, too.

That's a great vid. It really fuels my desire to learn more about vintage diving.

FYI
The video as pictured was only a very small portion of the movie, "Any one for Diving."

The narration was by John D Craig who has been discussed in detail on this thread. The girl who lost her mask is Zale Parry.

It was financed, produced and starred LA County UW instructors in 1964. I knew all of them ...many pictured on the deck are no longer among the living. The red headed girl was the exception to being an LA county UW instructor but was the wife, at that time, of Morgan "Clint" Degn who was the Senior Aquatic specialist for LA Co. She was recruited from the pool deck because of her red hair which gave "color" to the scene

The main portion of the movie stars Pete Manos (d) and a young Dottie Frazier ( see Legends of Diving == www.portagequary.com == Dottie is now 86 and still gets wet--

Hey, Sam, where might one get a copy of the entire video?

Okay, so I checked over the VDH forum but did not find the thread. Got a URL handy?

Hey! they can't dive like that!!!!
They have no BC's and they're using those wierd looking rebreather regs and some of them only have one 2nd stage with no long hose and no backup!
What the hell was the matter with people back then???
