    Port Hardy/Browning Pass Conditions?

Anyone have the latest on the roads and access to Port Hardy? Heard some roads in Port Alice were washed out. My group are going to the Hideaway Oct 8th weekend. Thanks.

I just got an email this morning from Dan Ferris from the Mamro. He said on Friday they were in Clam Cove and had winds of 50 knots gusting to 60 and pouring rain.

They made it back to Port Hardy at about the same time the State of Emergency was declared. Not much damage in the areas he was in (Quarterdeck Marina). The only damage he saw was a broken stool at IV's.

On his drive back to Nanaimo last night he came across where a tree had blocked the highway but it had already been removed. He will be going back up on Tuesday for another charter.
