Well there were a couple of sponges sites that we dove but it's no big secret that Power Lines is famous for it's sponges at depth. You are probably already familiar with that?
Yes I've done the Power lines a few times. I know there's a specific name for the type of sponge colony I'm thinking of, [bioherm?] where the sponges aren't all clinging to the wall but growing on the bottom. Were you in Agammemnon or at Captain's Island?
These were wall sponges. A bioherm would be a mass of sponges that would be form a pinnacle or mound on the seabed. The sponges in that clip were from the Powerlines, although we did dive Agammeemnon as well as Captain's Island on the same weekend. I have footage from those dives well. Those clips are mixed in to those videos as well.
