I've just come back from my second week doing a PADI Divemaster course at Porquerolles.
The island is 12.5 km², 7 km long by 3 km wide. South of Hyères between Toulon and St Tropez. The Islands of Hyères, also known as "The Islands of Gold", made up of Porquerolles, Port-Cros and Le Levant. Attached to the commune of Hyères - Listed site, administrated by the National Park of Port-Cros. The diving is mainly off boats. A number of wrecks, rocky outcrops and rugged shoreline make for interesting diving. The National Park of Port-Cros has a snorkeling park with information on-site about flora and fauna.
The island, its people, accommodation, seafood and diving are all stunning!
