My friend, Judy makes glass beads: many fish, nudibranchs, turtles, etc. Really wonderful stuff.

DiveSilver is great. I have several of their pieces in gold. They have a huge selection and it is good quality.

I took a dive flag necklace to my local jeweler and had it recreated. It turned out really nice. It has 3 "bubbles" to hold the chain.

    Hi Paul,

I wanted to answer your question, but first I just want to say hello (first post here!) and thanks to Jim for posting my website- www.jujeebeads.com -and all who have checked it out!

Paul, silver will definitely tarnish if exposed to air. Most of my jewelry (99%) is made with sterling pieces and I always tell my customers to keep any jewelry with silver in ziploc baggies to prevent it, although the tarnish is easily removed with a soft polish cloth. If you want to avoid the tarnish completely, white gold is the way to go.

    Hope that helps!
