Jerry, all:

I am getting ready to place an order for a TechniFlex suit and I am just getting all my options down. One thing remains undecided is the availability of pockets. I recon that there is wide variety of thigh pockets available, but the only one showing on the site is the cargo one (and the picture is not that good anyway to understand what’s what). Do you or anyone else on this board have a good picture of a knife pocket, argon pocket, etc? I have seen pics of removable zippered pockets by Gillty and others.
Also if there is a zippered or any other removable pocket installed can a knife pocket be installed on the same leg?
Any other info on pockets?

Thanks.
Eugene

Get the MOLLE system removable pockets. And have the velcro cuffs at the wrists and ankles deleted!

It's been awhile since this post was going....

Can anyone comment on what "velcro cuffs at the wrists and ankles" are and are for?

Would you agree with this?

Hey Zinc,

Great dive day yesterday. Thanks for the wonderful breakfast.
Here is what I have experienced in 4 years with my bioflex suit you have seen.
I have permanent boots attached and think that my boot cuffs protect the seal down there really well. A good buy.

The wrist cuffs are a different story, if I am diving with viking gloves in water colder than 48 degrees, my cutoff for wet suit gloves, then I roll the cuffs up, they are really not working for me, and they prevent wrist gauges from going in this area easily. If I had to do it again, I would not have cuffs on my wrists. thats my thought.

regards,

Shawn

I bought my techniflex with the cuffs. They protect the latex seals very nicely. My wrist mount guages (compass, dive computer, etc.) go over my cuffs easily because they use bungie. I wear them up my arm whether I am diving wet or dry.

I have not used my suit with the viking dry gloves. I'll be trying that very soon.

Are you talking about the viking Rings? I think I read somewhere that they don't fit under the cuff's but I could be wrong on that. You probably know, since you have some. I guess I'm wondering which ring systems (besides SiTech) do fit. For now, I have some Nordic Blues with seals, but I still wonder about other options.

I roll up the cuffs to get my inner viking ring seal (plastic) to be put in the proper position in my wrist seals. In water above 50 degrees I use wet suit gloves normally. Good luck.
