Look........ most of us are over 50, m'kay?

A few little "upsie's" goes with the territory! :rofl3:

Just as long as we can get rid of the "golden" thing, I reckon most people will be happy!!! :D

You also need a good forum description.
Current forum description:
All age (50+) related dive issues.
Also, will there be any access restrictions?

I pm'd Mr K about that.....

I'll PM you, but in the morning...it's late now.

I think if anyone wants to join, s/he should have her/his birthday listed in the profile.

You guys want to restrict this? I'm OK with it.

I really don't see a need to restrict access. The younger divers may read and learn from the older folks. If it becomes a problem, the mods will take care of it.

I'm good with that too . . .
. . . whatever . . .

See how easy I am to get along with ???? :coffee:

That's not the point for me.

There are simply some things I won't even bring up in an open forum...... especially very personal/medical type stuff. I actually have some examples to do with my forthcoming liveaboard trip........but I sure as hell won't be bringing them up in a totally open forum that can even be read by guests who simply Google the board.

That would be a good reason to make the forum opt-in.

It's OK Kim....a lot of us have had to try Viagra too....:rofl3:

Which is my original suggestion.

However..... I don't mind a vote on that too.....although I really believe that if it isn't opt-in then it won't allow for the kind of posts I actually envisaged. If this does go to a vote I might be in Thailand already...... so please add my vote to the "make it opt-in" camp. I don't need much control on who opts in..... if someone younger feels they'd like join in it's no problem. However.....removing it from total public view I think is an extremely good idea....just like other opt-in forums that won't come up in a Google search.
