The Deep.

One of my best diving memories was diving 2 dives on the Rhone in the morning and watching The Deep after a great meal in the evening on a sail boat. It was fun being able to recognize the Rhone as Notle, Shaw, and of course J. Bissett fight off and prevail against the bad guys.

The Deep (1977) - Jacqueline Bisset, Nick Nolte, Robert Shaw

I agree. Dove the Rhone last December, 2007 and then went home and watched
THE DEEP. I got pictures of the silver spoon fused to the wreck.

Action-the Bond Movies

I like In to the Blue. However my folks named me Mike Nelson apparently that has some sort of meaning to more mature divers.

Le Grand Bleu (The Big Blue) with the European music version of Éric Serra. The US version (Bill Conti) is not good.

I also watched Open Water, I don't know it is true.

Open Water is maybe the worst film, also that couple are alive and well living in the Phillipines with the insurance money. The dive boat captain committed suicide thinking he had killed 2 people. Also brought in very scrict government procedures in Oz creating very expensive diving.

Jaws and James Bond are great, and I do like the bit in Into The Blue, where they breathe inside a lift bag!

How deep is a leauge?

Depends on whether your talking NFL, NBA, NHL or baseball... :rofl3: :rofl3:

... but seriously folks, " a unit of distance, varying at different periods and in different countries, in English-speaking countries usually estimated roughly at 3 miles (4.8 kilometers)" [apparently based on the distance a man can walk in an hour... ]

IMAX 3D Under the Sea. The sequel is coming out Feb. 13.
