well, it still shows up on the mares homepage

and the mares shops i know still have them, so why do you think it is discontinued?

Several local shops that carry Mares have not been carrying them, several online retailers no longer have them either. For instance, if you search on Leisurepro for the mask, the description will pull up, but it has a message 'sorry, this product has been discontinued'. I did not know if that was referring to the retailer not carrying it or the manufacturer discontinuing

I think it is discontinue. I have one and love it, but most places no longer have them. So I had to find a new style of mask. Think the places that have them are left overs.

Dear all,

The Opera mask has run its course. It is retired from the line. The Opera has been a great mask for us and many consumers. As with all things, it is time for us to move on and make room for our new innovations. See our new Liquid Skin X Vision, and soon to come Liquid Skin Frameless mask "Essence". Ooooh La lahhh

Best to all,

How come it is still on your web site? Mares - stand for diving

We do still produce some Opera masks and some countries still carry it. Sales in the US and Canada have really dwindled the past few years, so last year we stopped bringing in new shipments. Should there be enough requests we could reconsider, but as Zak states, with all out new styles the demand is not there.
