Isn't there some chemical in pool water that reacts to urine?

I heard it turns pee into a dark blue color so everyone knows who the culprit is.

never seen it in the pool store.

divers and wetsuits are like kids and pools ... both divers and kids lie:D

But, I heard it from someone's brothers cousin who read it on the internet.

So, It MUST be true!!

volume of sea water in the oceans: 1.37 billion cubic kilometers

volume of water in my pool; 95 cubic meters

next question?

Does it really matter if one pees in one's wetsuit? If you're well-hydrated, it would be practically clear anyway.

I had a few too many at a local boat show with some friends two years ago and had to pee in the toilet of a 50' Mainship brand new, never been used. Sorry, I had to confess-it has been bothering me for a while. Based on my wife's statement (20 years in ER/ICU/Trauma) it is sterile, so I would not worry. Now poop, that is a hole different story (no pun intended). :rofl3:

Oh yeah. I pee in my wetsuit, in the swimming pool at the "Y", off the back of the boat, in the barn, behind the barn, in the yard, on the tractor tire when I'm mowing (too lazy to get off and pee), out my bedroom window and down the garage floor drain when I was a kid, along the road in the weeds or corn stalks. I've pee'ed along several Interstates and behind a lot of buildings also both in the daylight and night time. When I lived in Honduras you didn't really have much choice in the matter. No rest areas, few public restrooms and most businesses wouldn't let you use their facilities unless you were a paying customer. So I got pretty good at it. I've pee'ed just about everywhere that one can pee really. I consider myself a diversified and opportunistic pee'er.

Signaled the DM once that I had to abort the dive because I had to ascent and go releave myself ....:blinking:

Came back down after 1 minute, could not hold it thru the safety stop ...

... so I had to pee in the ocean. :rofl3::rofl3::rofl3:

There ... I said it !!
