My name is Lynn
I am 55 (not old is it)
Certified in Lake Tahoe 25 yrs ago.. Only diver warm water now.
Advanced open water
Key Largo...and where ever else I can go
Will be going to Roatan in June with husband and my 2 college kids that love to dive.
Great family sport!
Location is Savannah Georgia.
Alway looking for someone in Ga or Fla to dive with. Around my age would be great.

Did 48 dives in 17 dive days
Cozumel Jan 13-Feb 23 holiday date,
Dove with Scubamaucozumel.com,
Usually had a nap after the dives,
Gained 9lbs from living at Park Royal doing the AI, and I dont drink alcohol.
Stepped on a broken urchin on SI beach walk, also hydoid stings resembling bad red tattoes of little islands on my hands and ankles. Urine does stop the sting. It's just hard finding girls willing to help in this area.:) (they always said something about my head)
The most comfortable trip away from home ever to date.
Park Royal and Scubamau will be my rec zones from now on while on Cozumel Island.

Perhaps one or more of you grumpy ole diver's would like to get your heads together with me and plan something...I'm open for suggestions..it would be a great way to meet one another!!! := >

We would love to have you join our little group of "seasoned" (the youngest just turned 50) divers this June as we make our way to explore the walls of San Salvador, Bahamas!

Ooh, San Salvador, I went there with my dive club a couple of summers ago...are you staying at Club Med?

No. I have the group booked at the Riding Rock as I am not the Club Med type. :D:D

I stayed at Riding Rock for a few days following DEMA in 2003 and liked the way they operated.

How about joining us... there are 2 spaces still open. :D:D

Sorry, I've already been to San Salvador, my next dive trip will be a new location. This year the only dive trip in my budget is ITK.

I didn't think I was the club med type either, but it was really cool! Have fun!

Speaking of Invade the Keys...who here is going this year?

Just found this forum. You guys and gals make me feel good. I'm 61. I first dove in Spain in 1970. A buddy and I taught ourselves. Took a NAUI course in 1971 but dropped out of diving after a couple of dives. In June of 2008 took it up again. Took a PADI course and have been diving every chance I get. Currently AOW, taking Nitrox course. Did drysuit course. Mostly dive at Dutch Springs in Pa. Went to Key Largo in September and go to Roatan in April. Also taking UW Digital photo course. Still have slides from Spain taken with a Nikonos ll. Took all my courses and bought my gear at Salty Dog Dive Shop here in Delaware.

Surelyshirly - I am close to New Jersey. I was at Ocean Wreck Divers Flea Market on Saturday. Nice show. Looking forward to Beneath the Sea in March. I plan to be wreck diving off New Jersey this summer so maybe I'll see ya on a boat.

Dave
