I have finally chosen to take the plunge into the magical world of cave diving. I am going to be taking a cave class in October with Bert. I have had a few friends who swear by him and recommended him hands down to me.

I am very excited about the class, I have been cavern diving for a little while and I think I'm ready to move to the next step.

If you have any tips or advice please feel free to share.

Kevin,
Good Choice, I may just come along for that class, just to help you out.:eyebrow:

That would be so great Chad, I'm sure that we could have a lot of fun. After I finish everything I would like to go diving with you though.

You picked a great instructor. I did my cavern with Bert and I am working on Adveanced Nitrox and Deco with him now. I will do my cave with him as well. He is an outstanding instructor.

Congratulations! Have fun with your class.

You did all the hard stuff in cavern. You'll do it again, but it isn't new the second time.

I will echo what TSandM said,Congratulations. You will do lots of drills on your cavern skills which are the basis for cave diving, and be expected to have them down pat. Have fun in your class!

You made a great choice. Bert is both a great instructor and just a great guy. You'll learn a lot and have a great time as well. Hint: Don't let him "kill you" by tricking you to follow him off the line in the Ginnie ballroom. He frequently tries that one on his students!!! :)
