NEMO WIDE UPGRADE

DIVING WITH MORE THAN ONE GAS:
Nemo Wide now allows you to use up to three different Nitrox mixes during the dive (including air):
• Bottom mix (21-50%)
• Travel mix (21-99%)
• Deco mix (21-99%)
You must define the mixes in the dive computer prior to beginning the dive. You’ll be able to set the oxygen concentration and maximum oxygen partial pressure (ppO2max) for each mix individually, for maximum flexibility to suit your dive style.
During the dive Nemo Wide will suggest when you ought to switch to a different gas, and all you have to do is push one button to confirm. Nemo Wide will immediately recalculate your decompression based on the new information.
And … if you already own a Nemo Wide you can simply upgrade your dive computer by downloading the new firmware from our web site at the following link, http://www.mares.com/download_computers.php?region=ALL
then installing it via Mares Drak and you’ll immediately have this function available.

STOPWATCH IN BOTTOM TIME MODE:
this is the other function available with the new firmware: the upgrade adds a stopwatch function when Nemo Wide is in Bottom Time mode.

Do you wish to be a cut above the rest? Once more with MARES it is possible … Enjoy pure perfection …

I don't see where is the pure perfection...

Maybe in the way the mares business is going but not in client's interest... oh yes that a sure thing...

Can you explain why mares didn't include that drak USB device in the package? I see you're a mares district sales manager and I bet you have a good explanation...

How can mares ask on that drak bulls..t interface it's weight in gold???

My feeling is that all this is a mares style business... "Give us your money... then do it on your own... By the way... we have released an free upgrade... you want it? Pay more:rofl3:"

They are spending there own money making upgrades for all of you that bought this computer and they make the upgrade free. All they ask is you buy the usb interface to pay for there work and then you have it for any new upgrade after this.
But rather you get pissy that they even took the time to make the upgrade and come here and post it...

Let's see...I bought the DRAK interface for less than $100, and have already upgraded my computer two times. The computer has logged nearly 200 trouble free dives, and allows me to use two different deco mixes. Whether I am using my Nemo Wide on 3 hour long cave dives, or cruising a coral reef, it has been great. So far, it's been my favorite computer.

Plus, downloading the dives into my PC is simple.

No complaints from me...

What computer manufacturer doesn't charge for the download/upload cable/interface??? Suunto, Uwetec, TUSA, Oceanic, etc all charge for the cables - the only ones I know who don't sell their systems for over $1500.

This smells like a TROLL - 1st time poster with this type of BS.

Hi,
I recently purchased the Mares Nemo Wide and am enjoying it, but am wondering if/when there will be a release of Drak software which will also support the three gas switching.

My current version (I beleive its the latest, 1.5.0.0) does not seem to reflect the gas switching operations.

Can anyone advise Mares position on support for this feature on DRAK?

Thanks.
