Dark Fin Gloves

OK, so what do the veteran divers think of these? (Or non-veterans for that matter!)

I clicked on the link on this site, and they look interesting.

By the way, I know we hardly use our arms/hands for diving so it's not necessary to point that out. But these seem like they might help with maneuverabilty. I wouldn't use them for spearfishing but maybe for drift/sightseeing/bug dives?

I actually tried them out. And they do what they are supposed to. They help in moving you through the water. They are warm water gloves only. If you like to use your arms this glove will help.

Not to bust anyone out, but using your arms is kinda pointless when scuba diving. I used to use my arms all the time, but since I have learned how to move about in the water without them I've noticed increases in air consumption and stability.

So why would I want a glove that makes it more efficient for me to use my hands and arms to propel myself when the act in and of itself is extremely inefficient??

I bought them; if the water ever warms up enough to use them )) I will post a review, in case anyone is interested.

You hit the nail on the head!.....and for out swimming ur buddy when a shark is in hot pursuit.

I am not sure I would ever use them. Like posted above, I do not use my arms underwater. Not efficient.

Sometimes when you are maneuvering to shoot a fish -- hovering really -- you have to use your arms and hands. Finning isn't enough.
