I'm a Fish!
Ok I know this should be in the medical forum but it was to good to pass up sharing with the mass'es!
I love strange news but this was the top for the day and just looking to see if this could really happen or not?

This is the original story from showbiz news. so without further adue enjoy! :D

Katie Price has been warned that her surgically-enhanced breasts could explode or drown her if she goes ahead with a diving course, according to a report.

The glamour girl is currently enjoying a holiday in the Egyptian resort of Sharm el-Sheikh with husband Alex Reid and her eldest child Harvey, 7.

Earlier this week, insiders claimed that Price wanted to go diving in the Red Sea as part of the break.

However, a source told the Daily Star: "There have been scare stories about implants exploding underwater.

"Research has shown this is unlikely but they do fill with air bubbles as the pressure increases and can change size underwater. Implants also affect buoyancy so she'd have to make extra efforts to stay afloat.

"Given the risks, and how long she has spent perfecting her boobs, it is unlikely Kate will go ahead."

Earlier this week, Price announced that she had pulled out of this year's London Marathon on medical grounds.

Well, if there is a possibility that breast implants may explode underwater, I'm sure we could find a few brave instructors willing to demonstrate the safest way to handle them.

Could this be the beginning of a new certification course?

The hyperbaric augmentation card?
The extended range implant certification?

The possibilities are breast-taking. :blinking:

Yep I knew this would get but a few haha's!

She'll be fine as long as she does a DDeco stop.

Or if you prefer, the newly released book "Women and Pressure," Diving and Altititued by Caroline E. Fife and Marguerite St. Leger Dowse, published by Best Publishing Company ISBN #978-1-930536-54-8 has a well researched discussion on this and other issues that face female divers. Some of the issues may interest male divers in understanding where female divers have an advantage over their male counterparts. The book also discusses other issues which would be of significant interest to those who are teaching female divers no matter if it is tech diving, or the beginner. It's nothing to joke about, however I can see the reason for the jokes. But seriously, rumors are stupid. Go to this book for the ultimate source. I was surprised to see this issue discussed, but evidently enough women face this concern, so it was a valid point of inclusion for the book editors to consider including.

Basic Scuba: 145 viewing. That's about the most I've seen in a long while. Wonder why?
