Nekton (Bad News)

Yes I have been on the "Cat". Its pretty stable though not as much as the Nekton. Like your wife, I am susceptible to sea sickness and did not feel queezy once the whole week.

You can't go wrong booking the Aqua Cat. Its much higher end accommodations and its a great crew. They are out of Nassau and so it requires an extra flight to get there.

Great idea, except I have been calling now for 2 days and all I get is an ansering machine.

well perhaps they've been busy doing a little corporate paperwork.... (and perhaps maybe some document shredding).


seems the Nekton filed paperwork yesterday with the State of Florida declaring they were moving to... the land locked state of New Mexico. :shocked2:

He's been incorporated in New Mexico for a while actually, but with the boat "crisis", I wonder why he filed paperwork YESTERDAY to move their affiliation out of Florida and to New Mexico?

how does this pertain to your payment/refund/cruise? I don't know... but not much Liveboard Diving in New Mexico... that's for sure.

No, I do not work for Nekton, I simply know how to correctly read what is on the website. HOWEVER, that being said, with the history of Nekton over the past few years, I think it was buyer beware from way back then. I, however, would be EXTREMELY concerned if the phones aren't being answered and the boats are up at their shipyard.

I sincerely wish Good Luck to everyone who is owed money/cruise. I wouldn't want to be in your shoes right now.

on second glance.... it says

Maybe the documents with the filing will become online and readable in the next few days.... as to what is really going on. but it appears that no annual reports were filed. This is also not required annually I don't think. so odd timing is all huh?
