Thanks cave diver for the thread name change and thanks everybody for the help

I haven't received my email either, I think I registered like 2 weeks ago, kinda a funny way to run a board...

I put up a post over there on spearboard so hopefully it will speed things up for you.

thanks hope it helps

My spearboard registration took so long (over a month) that I forgot about it until I got an email.

Yea i registered a few days ago and haven't been accepted yet either. I'm in San Diego hoping to find someone with a boat that is going Spearfishing. I have everything but a gun with me. If you are going out before the 29th please let me know, I would love to come along and split expenses.

As a forum owner I can understand the delay.

It depends whether you auto accept registrations (these usually take 24hrs) or whether you put them in a queue to be moderated.

I did the latter for a while on my site as we had been targeted by spammers. I deleted them by hand and banned their IP's. It was painstaking work but was worth it in the end.

Perhaps Spearboard are for whatever reason putting the new member apps in a mod q.

I think the spearboard forum should be up front about who they want as members . It is okay if they want to keep the forum for the pure free diving hunter . I became a member of the deco stop forum and decided it was wrong because it is primarily for the re-breather diver . I have no re-breather certifications and do not own one so would not give any valid input to their forum .

That's not true at all. The majority of posts/discussions on TDS are open circiut related. SB may just be the death of Chris this week...:D
