AH I heard about this thread at ITK. I was at the other end of the table at the Pilot House when someone reallized who you were. Not knowing about the thread, I was wondering who this rock star called AquaHound was. I was told that I HAD to come home and read the thread. Having done that tonight I now understand that the rock star status is WELL deserved. Awesome... AWESOME job and great story!

Still 50 guests viewing this thread.......it is nice to see that a single honest and selfless gesture could have such a positive impact on so many lives.

Edit

If you google something like "camera survives trip" you get a feel for the different areas of the internet that are talking about this. It really is huge.

Read it in the (german) newspapers and spend hours to make it through the thread. Amazing story! It's just ... wow

To be honest, it's been a bit overwhelming. It's tapered off now, but I was bombarded with media requests last week. Both Mr. de Bruin and I have done radio and televsion shows all around the world. I never expected this. All I wanted to do was return a camera to it's owner. I am flattered, though.
