Just finished my OW dives yesterday too. I'm in Michigan - water here is pretty cold sometimes too. Up top it was a cool 68, down below, we hit 50. Glad I had a 7mm suit on! It was fine though. Unfortunately, diving here is all but over because of the falling temps. Next spring I'm looking toward my AOW. Then in May/June my wife and I are planning to go back to the Fla Keys. That was my whole reason for getting certified - we were there in June and was limited to snorkeling while some divers were below us. Next year I'LL be one of those below.

Congratulations! I'm hoping to do the AOW next year as well if everything goes ok with our dives in Nov. We'll dive in Puerto Vallarta and Cabo in February as well. Won't be as nice as Cozumel and Grand Turk but a chance to get in the water nonetheless.
 
Congratulations!! Enjoy the gorgeous weather and beautiful weather, I wish I could sneak away for a vacation in November...
