Not sure if you meant "yes" to the "dense " part or yes to the latter half of my inquiry, If it's the last part, thanks! If it's the "dense" part... my wife has often said I am sometimes dense! not sure why .....

And just to say, the silicone seal on the pee valve lasted longer than the drysuit did.

For disinfection I think hydrogen peroxide should do the trick, it eats anything organic, shouldn't damage any internals of a valve. Take a mouthful and blow through the tubing. What do you think?

Rubbing alcohol is cleaner and is better for disinfecting than peroxide. I use a syringe to flush the alcohol through. Not TOO sure I'd want blow the tube with a mouthful of anything, but, hey, you only live once, then you dive again!

Trying to troubleshoot my P-valve. The valve was already installed on my dry suit when I purchased it from a fellow diver. There's some flow ( testing with air pressure ) but there seems to be quite a bit of resistance to outward flow. Is this normal or is the valve defective. The diver whom I purchased the dry suit from says that he never used the valve.

Make sure the valve is fully open and there are no kinks. To open valve turn it counter clockwise
