Good timing. Heather and I are getting married this week.

Crud, did I let the secret out, she's going to kill me.

And Mike, this is NOT to make it to Facebook quite yet.

Wow!!!!! Congratulations!!!!...and condolences to MDB :D
(sorry, just had to get a jab in)

So, when the car chasing dog finally catches one, does he know what to do with it?

J/K Congratulations.

Well, it has been years. Maybe she just got tired of running. :D

I am back!!

I just finished my mixed gas decompression class a week ago! It was very challenging and very rewarding. I learned alot during the class as well as all the hours I put into studying and reading and doing practice dives before the class. After another check up with my doctor and a release to take the class, the ability to do such challenging dives after having an almost fatal IPE last July made me believe that I just had to take one step at the time during the class, as my life as been over the last several months, small steps of faith every day.
I have taken steps to improve my health with cardio training, weight lifting and breathing exercises. I keep a check on my blood pressure and worry my doctor to death with tests.
As we slowly worked on skills and drills over a period of days my mind got caught up in what we were doing and learning and it just happened! We finished the class and our dive down to 160ft on trimix and it was one of the most exhilarating moments of my life. I almost forgot to stop. I actually did go 3 more feet. :D
Rob Neto(Dive aholic) offered to help me last July while still in the hospital to ease back into diving when I was ready. Because Rob is in the medical profession, was familiar with my case through discussions he and i had and also a technical/cave instructor, I was in very good hands while taking the class. He watched me very closely.
I am truly blessed to have such great friends, instructors and dive buddies.

So very proud of you!!!
